Not My Usual Choice

As many of you know, over the past few months I've been dealing with some gastro-intestinal problem that seems to be stumping the doctors for now.
I had two more tests today; one was a special type of MRI to check all the bile ducts and my pancreas. Good initial news from that test is no tumors or stones.
Then I went to the next floor to get a third upper endoscopy for an additional look and some more biopsies.
A big thank you to CJ for his support today.

Below is a picture of what that man (the doctor) stuck down my throat. Believe me that's not my usual first choice. My throat is killing me now and I still feel fuzzy from the anesthesia. I couldn't suck off CJ right now if my life depended on it, how depressing.
Hopefully I'll feel more inspired over the weekend and will have some more stories before the holiday weekend.

I can sympathize with you. I too have had multiple procedures while the doctors looked for a phantom in my GI tract. The prep is no fun at all. Hopefully, they will find what they are looking for or, better yet, give you a clean bill of health.

Sheesh that doesn't sound like any fun at all! Sorry to hear that you are still battling this. I sure hope your all better very soon. Glad to hear its not a tumor or anything. That's always the first thought with those kind of problems.

The prep is worse than the proceedure. It is no fun getting that hose up the ass either. They have that camera you swallow and I look forward to the day it can be used to do this job. I imagine there is no escape from the prep. I hope you find an end to these tests soon.

Look up Celiac disease. Many people who can't seem to figure out what the heck is wrong...after going to many docs, find out that they are gluten intolerant. I hope you find out what is wrong soon and are on the way to good health.
