This week included AIDS Awareness Day. This year there was a lot of focus on the increase of the disease in children from the age of 13 to 19, this according to Centers For Disease ControlAccording to the article in the Hartford Courant the day for awareness this year was used to push for sex education. I'm a great believer in education of all kinds, but there is something special about sex education. A lack of education at any time leads to fear and prejudice, two things we definitely need less of in the world today. Why would we want our children to suffer and die from such a disease just because of a lack of education or an unhealthy attachment to the excuse of it ruining morals.
If at all possible, bring truth to young people you know.
